Did squats today. My tendons didnt hurt which was goal #1 but otherwise the session went pretty bad lol I kept running into mental block that would make me want to stop after 2-3 reps even with pretty low weights. There were some sets where I was firing on all cylinders and I was glad about that, but even then my body just kinda felt like it didnt want to be there. Probably a lot of it has to do with my SNS since I'm busy at work and dealing with some other shit in life, but I think a lot of it is also just that Im not 100% recovered, or maybe I took too long a rest and now my body isnt used to squatting, or maybe I just subconsciously associate squatting with tendonitis now and I have to mentally work past that. I think next time I do squats I have to eat an awesome giant meal beforehand so Im in a good mood and energized. It sucks because my legs build muscle really fast but half the time I cant even take advantage of that because I'm dealing with something dumb like this.

He has obvious shoulder issues, assuming youre talking about his squat.

Thanks, I have put a lot of work in the technique since the left glute injury, even though it was good before.

Correct. Right now its the left teres minor. My shoulder hurts when I put it in the same position as when you do military press. Rehab for this is wide grip pullup eccentrics, prescribed by the physio. Normally I'd like a more narrow grip because then I have more of a rack on my upper back to keep the bar in place. The reason I am pushing my elbows back and up when I have this wide grip is to create a better rack/cushion so the bar doesn't slip.

Smolov day 10 complete. This was the final easy day of the challenge before the two final hard ones. It was indeed easy, just one thing went wrong. In the middle of a set the force of me pressing lifted my entire smith machine and shifted it back a few inches, and I still had 3-4 reps left, so I had to awkwardly lean to the side for the rest of the reps and this tweaked my already kinda tweaked left delt. My smith machine is an old ghetto one which doesnt have the plate holding pegs, so I can only keep it in place by piling giant dumbbells on it. This usually works but its not flawless. Probably it will heal pretty well and not be a big deal but still annoying.

Looking forward to your final progress stats Luigi, get good rest and smash it next week.

Now something a bit off topic, "the way you feel is a lie" I cant remember his name but hes the guy who popularised some bastartized version of the Bulgarian method in the west. Anyway its true.

I had squats + assistance today, not looking forward to it, very low carbs all day and shit afternoon at work. Warmed up my usual of no bar just BW suats for 10 and felt tired already, then the first 4 ramp up sets felt shit, then for my final working set I do 150KG x 11 lol I was aiming for 6 and just kept going last rep looked like it had aids but still got there, probably not comp legal depth on the last one, then leg press cause Anastasios does them then leg extensions and im done

Edit: Tuesday nights workout:
Yellow band side kicks, then wide grip pullup eccentrics.

Bench press 150x0
It was a huge mistake to do the shoulder rehab before benching. The back muscles got fatigued and as fast as I unracked the bar with 150 it wobbled and I couldn't even hold it from slamming on the rack safety lol. Even my last warm up at 140 felt off but I tried anyway.

Cambered bar bench press 100x 10,8,10
