Why shoops and romos???

Why do they call em shoops on Sherdog and Romoshops on the UG? Anybody know

They used to call them romoshops on Sherdog as well back in the day. As for why people started using "shoop," I'm not sure.

Also is the romo pronounced as homo, like Royce Gracie and other Brazillian stuff?

^ that's precisely why I don't call them romos... sounds so... well, - gay. lol

'Shoop' is a play of 'shop', as in; Photoshop. Also sounds kind of dumb imo, but better than romo

I like calling them 'shops'. (photoshops)

The UG gets pretty upset if you call them shoops, lol - weird to see them proud of such a romo name
