Samurai Cop 2

If you're at all interested in "good bad" movies... as in movies that are so bad they're good... there is a kickstarter for Samurai Cop 2.

- Man Robert Zdar is the villain.:)
I watched all American Ninja movies a couple of months ago(there's only 4, the 5 never happened), and the level of badassary on Joe Armstrong on the 4 movie was so cool.

There was no TV show for Samurai Cop. It was written/directed/produced by an Iranian who came to the US to try and make American style action movies. There was an obituary online that matched up with Matt Hannon's (Samurai Cop) life and everyone thought he was dead. Then he posted on IMDB that he was alive. Meanwhile the only copy of the movie was found in a vault in LA, and the person who found it has the rights and they released it on DVD/Bluray. Now they're making a sequel.

The reason I know about all of this is because I'm a big fan of Red Letter Media (redlettermedia.com)

They sat down and did an interview with Matt Hannon. Part 2 will be up in the near future.

Also, Edge, I think you would like their series "Best of the Worst." You'll especially like this one:
