Acknowledging non-physical existence/realms

Psychedelic experiences, lucid dreaming, out-of-body, meditation, moments of 'satori'/zen, the nature of consciousness, etc etc etc

Many have experienced such things, and they tend to change people profoundly, however such an experience is induced.

One guy I have really been enjoying lately is Tom Campbell, a renowned physicist who has in the past few years turned his attention to exploring the nature of just these sorts of things and how it fits into the larger reality.

Here is a great question/answer session with Tom and others at the table discussing such things.

What are your experiences, or theories of what is happening? Is it just our physical brains fooling us? Or does consciousness really exist independent of the body, and there may actually be a field of collective reality we can access?
