So I have been looking up the origins of electronic music, and pretty much all of the early stuff sucks and just sounds like weird and annoying noise until the 70s when Kraftwerk appears. Their early stuff sounds like halfway between the weird noise and music, and by the late 70s they've got some awesome stuff. So here is a thread to them and their contributions to music.

Yeah I had a friend at one time who was CRAZY for this band, in the sense that he took them to be total geniuses way ahead of their time.
He also credits them for pioneering digital music
