As an Aussie I imagine this but a big show over there right? I fucking love it myself, it is like Orange is the New Black, but on bad drugs. :D What is your take on the show?
For anyone that hasn't heard about it, it is a reboot of Prisoner Cell Block H (known as Prisoner in Australia). It is a lot more gritty than Orange is the New Black, I'd say it is probably even 'darker' than Oz.
I recommend this to all sick and twisted individuals, it is damn good TV and a crying shame that it doesn't have more of a following over here.

I'm downloading it. I think the channel in Aus that it is on is called Soho. At least that is what is in the bottom right hand corner of my downloads anyway.

I really like the show though, I was in the middle of it when I blew my laptop up so haven't gone back to it yet to figure out which season I'm on.

you guys have forgotten some of the horrific scenes in Oz, and the way they were filmed was often disturbing. that one guy pressing his anus against the glass has scarred me :D
Yeah Jehannum, you're probably right. I think I got a bit over zealous about Wentworth.
I still think it's an amazing show, but to say it is better than Oz is probably a stretch too far to be honest.

oh nothing wrong with saying it's better if you prefer it, just Oz was a very disturbing series, and even though it did follow a timeline, often the scenes were more about the psychology rather than just being a literal telling of a story.
having a main character doing commentary and weird skits out of reality added to that.
