Yep that is one part of making weed legal and in the hands of big business/government. Capitalist ideology will fuck with it to no end, it will all be GMO crap within a few years

I like to know where my bud is being grown, and lucky enough most times to do so

Then again that weed seeds in the mail thread has my interest, lol:

Its better left in the hands of the only honest capitalists otherwise known as organised crime.

They are way more predictable, reasonable and honest than the government and/or big business. OC's only agenda is making money, this makes them much more trustworthy

Great point
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

I like a little toot of black hash from a pipe once in a while. Too much weed that's too powerful will turn you into a vegetable.

Great point about the corporatization of weed going on guys. We also have dispensaries marking their weed up here and calling it 'private reserve' and 'red label' and so forth. And we're starting to get a first glimpse of what legal weed will look like here in Canada and it isn't pretty. Ex cops and ex prohibitionist politicians are planning to steal the industry out from under the mom and pop growers and force everyone to purchase their Monsanto frankenbud with eleven unknown chemicals sprayed on it. Not going to happen though, and ffs everyone in the industry should stop giving these lps their genetics. Just freeze em out.

As I was saying; it's really disgusting to watch what our federal government is doing on the marijuana front. Old fashioned insider profiteering is a Liberal Party of Canada hallmark and weed is just the latest example.

Here's the real reason Justin Trudeau wants to come down hard on local community craft cannabis and dispensaries. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the excuses he's been spouting like safety and protecting children and everything to do with making a small group of political insiders and Liberal Party associates filthy rich....
