So she's pickin me up in 15-20 minutes, she has something planned (my B day today ) but I don't know what.
Apparently we don't get back till tomorrow.
What could it be??
Until I find out & get back, I'm just gonna leave my favorite birthday song here, by the Vandals:
42, bitches! (and not on TRT )
Goin out w/ the missus

- Can i go with you guys?
Today is pretty boring here, its raining!
I can eat the rest of food in your plates!
- Happy birthday, Masato!
Mama told me when I was young
Said, "Sit beside me, my only son
And listen closely to what I say
And if you do this
It will help you some sunny day"
Oh, take your time, don't live too fast
Troubles will come and they will pass
You?ll find a woman and you'll find love
And don't forget that
There is someone up above
And be a simple kind of man
Be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Won't you do this for me son
If you can?

Don't be selfish, preserve this world for the next generations.
I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
I won't look back I'll fight to remain

Just to brighten up your day its my bday too this weekend. The only person who ever remembered (including my ex wife) was my now dead mother.
This will be my first bday without getting a call to say happy bday! Ill probably talk to people but they wont know its my bday and ill hate them for it while going out of my way to make sure they dont find out.
The life and times of an over the hill motherless sober drunk..

People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.
Happy birthday fags.
Oh yeah shit I forgot about this thread lol
Wife took me to a very cool little town a couple hours away called STRATFORD, which is famous for being a hub of STAGE THEATRE. They have several theatres and hold all kinds of plays and festivals all the time, especially famous for doing Shakespeare productions
So she had scored a deal on some tickets to see 'Guys and Dolls', which I wouldn't suspect to be my style of play but damn it was really impressive. The stage/theatre was awesome, the audience wrapped almost 180 degrees around the stage, and some of the actors were really great/funny. All music was done with a live orchestra, was really amazing. I find the whole craft of putting together a stage play to be fascinating. I hope when I am older and have more time (kids grown, etc) to get involved with it somehow, though I respect that people invest entire lifetimes into the art
I saw a few galleries around the town of DESIGN SKETCHES for various costumes and set designs, that was fun all kinds of great drawings and paintings and sketches planning out the visuals for various plays.
She also booked a hotel room in the town for 1 night which is always great, ate italian food, slept in the next morning etc
a very pretty town
this was the theatre:

Some say getting older sucks but I say it just brings us more into focus
I'm having some good new thoughts about who I am who I'd like to be, where I'm going etc. Lots to look forward to, set some goals etc. Long way to go still, lol I haven't primed yet
