I may not be around as much

Postby Benwahwah » Fri Jan 26, 2018 4:56 am

Recently I have been accepted by Nottingham University to do a Masters Degree in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second or Other Language) this is great news for me, and will mean that once I have gained it I will be able to get a proper Teachers licence here in Thailand.

The downside is that it will be very time consuming, so I won't be able to post here as often as I usually do. I know this is disappointing news for some of you, but keep your chin up, and keep on keeping on.

Good man. Are you in Thailand now? I thought you went back to the UK?
How long is it and where are you doing it?

Man, you're never around here as it is, even less is going to be a travesty.

Congrats btw

I know, I miss the guy :(

In truth however I predict he will be posting much much more, as this forum is quite perfect for mild procrastination and micro-breaks while studying :D

Congrats Ben! Keep moving forward!!

Yeah, I’m still in Thailand. I only went back to the UK for a few weeks in October for my Dads funeral.

The course is part-time and web-based, so I can continue teaching here in Thailand. At the minute I’m in a city called Korat. I’ve been here since May. I reckon I’ll do one more year here and then try and get a better job somewhere else in Thailand.

If I go to Thailand I want to do lots of hiking.

Anywhere foreign, really.. to get some elevation and see the raw landscapes etc, this is magical.
