He's a teenage boy, he probably hurt his wrist trying the old reverse grip or numb hands for the first time.

We've all been there..

I was just joking, no need to get defensive.

He wont listen to you about lifting youre his mum FFS, I would have loled at my mum if she even tried suggesting anything gym related.

:)

I'm sure I will one day regret telling this but....

After I retired from the Fight club at age 10, I asked for and got a set of weights for Christmas at age 11.

Note: there were only boys in my neighborhood besides one girl. That was my sister who was twice my size and consistently beat my ass a couple of times a week. So I had to make do with what friends I had. Lol

Anyway, it became controversial to allow kids to do bodybuilding. I grew up, found female friends, and give it up. I picked it back up around age 18 for a bit. I don't know if it was muscle memory or not but I started blowing up quick. My arms got bigger than my boyfriends and people started assuming I was gay. So I quit again. Lol

I have pics somewhere, if I run across them I'll share.

So while I only have minimal experience, I'll still try to be coach/cheerleader in anything they choose. Maybe someday they will appreciate it.

My son got a chin up bar, bench, and weights for his birthday. So I actually read this whole post thinking I might learn something.

Nope. Except that I'm gonna have to brush up on my weight room lingo.

- Good to see that your son is following the Swollen-path!

Now tell him to watch all the Rocky movies.

Im supposed to be deloading and did 6 x 2 x 160kg (352LBs) on bent over rows.

Yeah yeah its a deload but I dont normally employ BE bows preferring pendlay rows but ive started using lifting straps recently and can pull fucktons more at the end of my workouts.

Approaching my 40's and getting stronger every damn day, this is what no booze, no narcs, PLENTY of natural sleep and eating your veggies does. I could probably ragdoll most UFC fighters my weight for about 30 seconds on the mat, okay thats bullshit maybe most national level journeyman fighters but yeah only for a matter of seconds before I gas>cry>get killed while weeping

Id literally crush Eric at this stage, my ballsack looks less shrivelled than his liver for sure.

I weigh 108.7KG or 239LBs for reference

Now fuck off you cunts.

I could drive 15 mins further to a proper gym and get absolutely blitzed by the guys my size there and this is not lost on me one bit. I cringe every time chalk up my hands next to some poor bewildered newbie who thinks the TRX equipment is a jungle gym

So so ghey

- I dont think.
The bodybuilding world is a cringe world!
You should enjoy the ride.

Nothing on bodybuilding.com meets with my approval but if you like it and it helps why not? I just dont like that they banned me for calling referring to the "big 4" instead of the "big 3" in the powerlifting sub.

Its almost as bad as when I called BJJ "Latin American Ju Jitsu" on the Gracie Forum, gone in 60 seconds I tell ya
