Yeah, I'm still in Thailand. I'm out on the border in a small city, so lockdown hasn't affected me too much. Especially with me not being the kind of person that goes out and parties.

Luckily, because I have a job, I haven't been affected financially by the lockdown. The new academic year was meant to start mid-May, but the lockdown has stopped that. Currently it is looking like it will start on July 1st. Since mid-May I have been teaching classes online for my students via Google Classroom, that has been interesting and has kept me busy, but I'm looking forward to getting back into the classroom.

Not at all. Lately I’ve been helping to hire teachers and I have seen how rough it is. My school decided that all new hires would only be hired from July rather than May.

I’ve also been reading the papers and seen how fucked people have been because of Covid, like that poor woman who drank bleach in front of the government building because she didn’t get a 5,000thb pay out. Shit has been depressing.

There was also a question in April about whether we would get paid for the months of April, May, and June. So I just feel extremely lucky to be in the position that I’m in. I apologise if you felt I was taking shots at you.

Perma banned? That guy carried the banner for that site for years ffs. I even got into it with him here once where he was actually coming over here, another website, to defend that place. How can they do this? The bosses there need to start smoking weed I think.

There has to be more to this story, there is no way they banned somebody for being honest
