I think there is no doubt that these sort of events are totally being used to create more powers to governments and global authorities. A 'global public health emergency' would indeed be the perfect tool to expand exercise such 'emergency powers', and strip us of more rights, and no one will say shit. Governments will bend, everyone else will line up to take instructions.
Whatever the true nature of the actual virus, global/International orgs like WHO etc imo are totally using these events to practice and test these powers. MSM will be used to drive whatever message they require.
