Christmas was based on an ancient Roman holiday called Saturnalia????!
The fascinating thing about this holiday was the role reversal....masters becoming the slaves and the slaves playing the masters? It was a clever way to give the slaves a way to blow off steam and alleviate the threat of rebellion. The master slave in Rome was complex especially in that slaves outnumbered free Romans by 3 to 1.
And rebellion was a bloody possibilty. Spartacus's servile rebellion was one. After several of these Romans treated their slaves better and gave them more rights like the ability of buying their freedom or the possibility of being freed at the end of the master's life (a possibility if the slave served the master well).

Jesus was born on September 11th.
Christmas on December 25th is obviously a solstice (pagan) holiday.

Ernest L. Martin is the most important dude that nobody knows about. He has two main contributions...
Jesus was born on September 11th
and
the Jewish temples were located on a different site that is presently thought of as the site. The "western wall" are the remains of the Roman Fort Antonia.

Great Thing The Church CLEVERLY chose the Solstice as the day to celebrate Christ in order to replace paganism and that Human Sacrifice nonsense!
