Why is KILLIN' in WAR OK but not for Civie Disuptes?

I will use the SQUATTER Example for Civie: If some Mom&Pop LandLord suffer a SQUATTER they have to submit to the LEGAL SYSTEM or RISK going to PRISON....they can't just go in with 6 shooters blazing and attempt remove the SQUATTERS......

.....or another example: RAPE/MURDER of a Family Member. Try to avenge that RAPE or MURDER and one RISKS being CONVICTED as a VIGILANTE and being SENT TO PRISON

and why is it MURDER when Civies try to avenge such offenses but in WAR it's "DEFENDING your COUNTRY"?

yet one can go do some KILLIN' in WAR with no RISK of PRISON.....of course he's risking life/limb, but that's another matter, here is the example:

and how about GAMER NERDS being HIRED GUNS to do some KILLIN" with DRONES for Country Militaries.....not even having to RISK LIFE/LIMB and the HARDSHIP of Boot-on-the-Ground experience which makes it even easier to get people to take part in!
