I got to watch it after all

It was pretty wild. My house was right at the edge of the band where full eclipse could be seen, there was a few minutes when the full moon could be seen with a little ring of light around it. This part I could see without the glasses, I was looking at it with my own eyes

Looked like some DUNE or Star Wars shit lol

Very cool :D

I was in the path of totality.

It was pretty cool. Never seen anything like it.

Nicest day of the year so far, was like 75 Fahrenheit. Dipped to about 55 by the time the eclipse was in effect. Wasn't as dark as night but it wasn't far off.
