Saw the Bob Marley Movie

Big thumbs down

I thought it was really awful. The guy that played Bob came off as some pretty-boy fashion model, did not exude the charisma of Bob at all imho. The script was all over the place.

A few cool moments, but it was like they just packed 100 different things into 2 hours with no clear story arc or even an uplifting ending.

Super weird. Does not do the man justice imo.

I sincerely hope this inspires someone to do it right. The potential for an uplifting Bob Marley movie is intense.

Booo!

I have really loved Bob Marley's music and much of his message since I was a teenager.

Huge influence, still a source of peace for me consistently. Not sure if there is any other music I could say the same about

I have always kind of preferred Toots and the Maytals as far as reggae goes. There's no real message there which kinda suits me better.

But Bob Marley is great too.

Just wish the jews had cast Ryan Gosling in the role.
