I recently started watching Lethwei, but it has been hard to get into because there is so little information about it in English. The one site I found with a list of golden belt champions was in all Burmese letters which my computer cant read. Pretty much every site I find on Lethwei is in Burmese. Do you know any good web sites to learn about the current lethwei scene, fight schedules, etc?

As an alternative I like to watch the Thai Fight border fights where they do Muay Thai with no gloves. It doesnt have the headbutts and the throws are more restricted, but it is pretty close and one of the Lethwei champions even fought in one of them(although he lost to an inexperienced Farang).

No websites bro, sorry.
The border Muay Thai is good. I really don't like gloves in combat sports. My current gig is in Mae Sot right now. I might ask her to see if she can get a DVD or something.

No problem. Do you know if the Lethwei guys fight and defend their belts regularly like in the Thai stadiums?

I believe it's more amateurish in its structure and that most guys still have to work regular jobs. If I meet a Burmese guy tonight I will ask.

People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.
