NIIICE

Sato was one of the first I remember of the 'fast-fighters', mixing LW speed with high technique. Flying armbars etc way ahead of anyone else

- Yeh, sad he is such a lesser know character on the story of martial arts.
Was a amazing fighter to watch.

Mens like Sato, Vovchachin, Mezger, we need a MMA hall of fame.

After Sato lost to Joel Gerson in Shooto (he was toying with Joel the whole fight until he got caught in a fluke armbar), he flew to Canada to compete in a local tournament and choked out Gerson in like under a minute. Boss revenge is boss.
