I didn't understand until last night what this thread is about! Saw the CM Punk think during the fights.

I don't care if you're a fan of wrasslin or not... this is disgraceful. Shame on UFC, tarnishing the sport and giving breaks to already-rich people while tougher better fighters who have worked hard get shafted.

Maybe Im just used to sherdog, but some of the guys over there have some serious disdain for it lol I watched as a kid but stopped when I was about 14. I can still appreciate it and laugh at some old clips, but ya I dont watch it anymore either.

I agree. the commentary is/was hilarious listening to it now. top notch. I think most of that stuff prob flew over my head as a kid, but heenan & co. were awesome. I can def still appreciate it.

Lesnar had 1 pro fight against a noob before the UFC gave him a contract and he became the champ in a few fights. Pro wrestling is a good style to transition to MMA. Personally I think John Cena would KTFO Cain Velasquez.

To me it's simple. I don't consider it fighting. In the same way as I don't consider pure grappling to be fighting. Pro-Wrestlers are probably athletic, tough guys for the most part, but they aren't fighters. Ballerinas are tough and athletic too.
On another note it looks like anti-dis has switched it up to picking on Benwahwah now. It sort of reminds me of the south park episode where Pip starts picking on the new kid to avoid being bullied himself. It's kind of sad that people like them need hierarchies.
