Strength & conditioning discussion thread

So... Say I'm alternating bench w/ clean and press.

I'll do my C & P warmup at 135 on the Bosu then I'll flip it over and do my first set of bench at 225 by adding a 25 and 2 10s to each side. Then I'll take off the tens and do C & P at 185 (not on the Bosu). Then alternate sets between bench and clean. I can get the arduous power lifts out of the way in like 10-15 minutes.

Bosu balls are totally underutilized, I think.

Also been doing one armed snatches w/ a dumbbell on the Bosu. The gym only has a 40 lb kettle bell so I've been using an 80 lb dumbbell. It's great because while you are really concentrating on the lift, you are subconsciously concentrating on the balance and it makes for a much more dynamic exercise.

Yup. I feel the stretch right where the pain is. Thanks mate.

Keep doing it, it will get blood flushing through the area which will help, ill talk to my cousins the stupid bitch she is this week about more movements for you. She is a physical therapist who specializes in the shoulder joint but she probably knows some knee shit like how to get on her's.

I had to do them in high school. Vast majority of people in the states don't do the Olympic lifts. They're tough.

Probably does stretch it but i was taught it to rehab my knees when I played hs rugby. The kind of pain you describe in my humble experience is due to a weakening of muscle and connective tissue due to the kindof sedentary lifestyle a computer hardware expert often leads.

This is what I get for bragging... The day after I posted that my lower back starts to spasm and I've been getting around like a cripple the past few days. I have to see my PT lady today.
