Bellator 144 has gotten one fight bigger with a featherweight bout between Isao Kobayashi and Goiti Yamauchi.

The bout was confirmed to MMAjunkie by Bellator officials.

Bellator 144 takes place Oct. 23 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The main card airs on Spike TV following prelims on MMAjunkie.

Kobayashi (18-2-4 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) is a former lightweight “King of Pancrase” who made the move to featherweight where he has continued his run of success. The 26-year-old Japanese fighter has compiled an 8-1-1 record in his last 10 fights. He is currently riding a two-fight winning streak with victories over former Sengoku featherweight champion Marlon Sandro and UFC veteran Will Chope. Bellator 144 will mark his Bellator debut.

Yamauchi (18-2 MMA, 4-1 BMMA) is riding a two-fight winning streak, both fights coming in Bellator. He defeated Mike Richman at and Martin Stapleton in his most recent bouts for the promotion.

With the addition to the card, Bellator 144 now includes:

Champ Marcos Galvao vs. Eduardo Dantas – for bantamweight title
Brandon Halsey vs. Rafael Carvalho – for vacant middleweight title
Dennis Olson vs. Brennan Ward
Michael Page vs. opponent TBA
Isao Kobayashi vs. Goiti Yamauchi
