You have to realize it is not their fault man. For being a good fighter, they have the very worst of celebrity 24/7/365 and have to be 'on' that whole time for the cameras and idiots that are constantly in their face asking the same exact questions over and over and over again.
Being a UFC champ means giving up even one iota of a notion of a private life ever again.
You don't even make that much money for it either, but if you win a belt, you are 24/7 available to press and willing to do shows.
A camera in your face and an idiot in your face asking questions you have to respond politely to. Say the wrong thing and everyone thinks you're a villain.
Could you imagine? Hoo boy that would suck on toast.
I wouldn't do it, that's for sure. Rather do the sharky thing.
