meh, that was boring, two wrestlers hanging on for dear life, low level jits.
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

- Barnett hasn`t reached his pro-wrestler status back in the day.
Barnett is one of the most complete, entertaining and versatille heavy-weights in mma history.
But he isn`t a A-level athlete since his gas tank doesn`t get empty in 30 seconds.

dont get me wrong, im a big barnett fan and that video was cool, i didn't know they met in a match like that, however, i think a straight up wrestling rules match between them would have been more exciting.

- I know, seeing with Barnett would became years after that match we can only dream about.
I don`t think Barnett can hang with Kerr on a pure wrestling match, i believe that submission would be more favorable to bot fighters.

If grappling was bigger years ago i think Kerr path would be different, he looked like a guy that didn`t liked punch or kicking people, probably would be different with today more sport oriented rules.

Maybe a younger Kerr would even try his hand at pro-wrestling seeing that we have some big orgs today and the payment is good.

I always thought Kerr was INCREDIBLY boring. His presence in early Vale Tudo fights was pretty cool, but after that can you really remember any great performances?

Seriously, how many times did he just freeze up and waste entire rounds sitting in someone's guard doing nothing? He pretty much just gave up and let an injured, green Fujita beat on him for the L in the biggest tournament of his life (PRIDE GP 2000) of which iirc he was the favorite to win.

I can't find the fight where Igor knocks him the FUCK out... that was giants falling that day man.

but there is a pretty cool little mini-hype for their re-match, with the KO included:
