It came about when those garlic crunching frog eating surrender monkeys would whine and kick each other in the shins when someone didnt say oui oui to letting them blow them

Don't be selfish, preserve this world for the next generations.
I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
I won't look back I'll fight to remain

the hard toe shoe of a well placed Savate kick digging into a vital spot in the body seems as if it would be a rather unpleasant thing to experience
I can observe the Fencing Inspiration in Savate as compared to Muay Thai. Trading/Absorbing Blows with Swords is not an advantageous strategy and the movement of SAVATE seems to reflect that inspiration in its movement.
This is not to suggest it is superior as there are obvious differences between the dangers of Blade and Unarmed Limbs as weapons....although if one trained in a Traditional Savate Method of developing skill in fighting with a hard boot that could certainly give a weapons advantage though still not as easily lethal as would be the concern with a sword and a Muay Thai Fighter could more easily employ his methods against a boot than a blade.
