Scotland to vote on INDEPENDENCE??

Its important to note that "yes" was ahead in the polls about a week before the elections and this caused a panic in Westminster where the U.K. government took measures to insure a "no" vote. To do this they promised the Scottish that if they stayed with the U.K. the government would use devolution measures to empower Scotland. Devolution would essentially make Scotland similar to an American state, in which it would have a lot of control over its local laws. It will be interesting to see if these promises are met.
