Reports of alleged casualties among civilians caused by Russian airstrikes in Syria emerged even before Russian warplanes were launched for their first combat mission, President Vladimir Putin said, branding such reports 'information attacks.'

“Other nations have been bombing Syrian territory for over a year,” Putin told the Russian human rights council on Thursday, stressing that the US-led coalition invades the Syrian airspace with no UN mandate or invitation from Damascus.

“We have such an invitation and we intend to fight against terrorist organizations and them only,” Putin added.

Can you imagine around the same time the shite propaganda people were getting in Russia for example?

Media has always been a KEY part of the Grand Chessboard, that is why it makes me so upset that people today in the west don't get this, and assume the mainstream media is all honest and fair. They don't see it as propaganda anymore, they unconsciously trust it.

From an outsiders perspective, I feel that most news I watch broadcast from the USA is simpler in its language and in the concepts they put forward, they also seem to have less real current world issue news.

Where as European and Russian news seems of a higher caliber. Still full of bias and propaganda, just seems better read??

^ Yes, europeans in my limited experience always strike me as far more politically aware than in the west.

Most Canadians are completely unaware of anything... I honestly can't imagine what its like in the USA.. their mainstream media really is quite horrifying.

That is a very interesting video- and makes complete sense:) Its all about the long game !! There are theories that the Chinese brutalities under Chairman mao was a planned re education process of a generation, to fit their long game of new empire. By breaking the people and getting them ready for work.
