So I'm gonna bite the bullet and listen to this.

I'm already into Part 2

I have never read it because I was always rather skeptical that it was genuine, ie; that it wasn't some Russian or Allied forgery to paint their post-war version of Hitler. I remember that Holocaust revisionist David Irving saying he didn't think it was genuine and that threw me off.

But I did some research and apparently the book was out WELL before the war, signed copies etc everywhere.

I am fascinated with WWII and especially trying to understand this man and just WTF happened there with Nazis etc. So forgery or not, I have finally succumb to hearing this bitch out.

What do you all think? Did Hitler ever personally take credit for the book? Is that even a debate? I started listening with neither foot on either side... sometimes it sounded like a well-constructed Hollywood tale, other times seems really genuine.

I am starting to believe this was the real deal. I have seen arguments about translation though...

I did a long time ago, I purchased a 1933 English version off Ebay so the translation is probably quite accurate.


I never really got what all the fuss was about to be honest.

ya know, if you ask arabs about the bible they would likely say the same thing. i stopped believing what i was told a long time ago and much of what I feared was correct, We are being lied to on a grand scale about everything. Want to know the truth about the book, then you'll have to read it.
