The hellcat logo look`s real cool.
Do you think they actually try to use the car`s to portrait a badass image, more akin with the time?

For sure, they are using the reputation of their muscle cars to represent the entire Dodge brand. Even if you drive a Neon, you can still feel a connection to the image of the flagship models. But Dodge has always used occult imagery, so that part goes much deeper.

It appears to me as though they use the logos as sigils.

All logos are sigils imo
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

I agree that all the major corporate logos that we see today, are sigils. Some seem to have more intent than others though. Dodge/Chrysler seems to use more of a range than many of the others.

The word sign is derived from sigil.

Our entire alphabet is comprised of sigils and it's my belief that the very structure of language is designed to be magick

There's far too much occult symbolism in dodge stuff for it to be accidental imo. These guys knew what they were doing.

Yes, I think so.

There is power in simply writing words on a piece of paper and showing them to someone. It can have an effect on the person in many ways.

And our Alphabet has evolved from ancient Hieroglyphs, letters began as pictures.

Some of the letters in the English alphabet are still very similar to the originals.

^^ Redneck, are you sure that chart is accurate? I am no Egyptologist but thought it was more complex than that. Would be surprised that such a direct phonetic translation is the case

I have a friend who is crazy for Egyptian stuff (lived there, egyptian wife etc) who says that experts now can actually read hieroglyphics, but I always wondered if this is really true, or over-confidence/arrogance of said scholars who are more likely than not getting most of it wrong.

Luigi is our resident linguist specialist, I never know if my naturally high skepticism of such things is warranted. It sure feels that way, lol I hate it when academics discuss ancient times as though they were certain of themselves

I agree with Canuckster about most logos being sigils, whether conciously created with this intention or not... You are encapsulating the look and character of a business venture into a simple image. Is it only a sigil if you perform rituals with it afterwards?

Here are some other good logo threads
(I still think the Cadillac logo in the 3rd link is perhaps the most bizarre of all corporate logos):

Coolest car logo for meaning imo is the Subaru logo, which is supposed to be an image of the Pleiades (something associated with lots of interesting myths and legends) ...though I have never learned about how or why that start system is/was important to the Japanese... Would be curious to learn what relevance it would have to sigil-making Japanese car manufacturers.

Seriously, are there parts of Japanese culture that are astro-theological in nature? Are there Shinto gods from the pleiades?? I gotta peek into this one day...
