People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

^ WTF with the Chcago Bulls logo... is that satire?
ouch
ouch
that second link is a bit better
I still argue that extremely simple and pleasing geometric forms arise naturally and are not always evidence of occult leanings.
Sometimes a triangle is just a triangle, etc. Its a nice shape to use
Other things like the Alfa Romeo logo for example are clearly more specifically intentional.

I have a friend who is crazy for Egyptian stuff (lived there, egyptian wife etc) who says that experts now can actually read hieroglyphics, but I always wondered if this is really true, or over-confidence/arrogance of said scholars who are more likely than not getting most of it wrong.
Luigi is our resident linguist specialist, I never know if my naturally high skepticism of such things is warranted. It sure feels that way, lol I hate it when academics discuss ancient times as though they were certain of themselves
I agree with Canuckster about most logos being sigils, whether conciously created with this intention or not... You are encapsulating the look and character of a business venture into a simple image. Is it only a sigil if you perform rituals with it afterwards?
Here are some other good logo threads
(I still think the Cadillac logo in the 3rd link is perhaps the most bizarre of all corporate logos):

The alphabet chart is widely used by academics and is generally accepted as being accurate. No doubt there are differing views but it's essentially correct. Our Alphabet evolved from the Ancient Greek alphabet (Alpha Beta), a society that was influenced by the Egyptians and whose scholars studied in the Egyptian Mystery Schools.

Of course, and it's probably the case in many examples. However when you take other factors into account, such as the obsession with Ancient Egyptian religion that many secret societies have, and the constant recurring use of the same symbols by those in control throughout history, I think it's more than a coincidence.
I was JUST at the airport shipping some brasilians back home and noticed some huge ads there for a new luxury car called GENESIS
Also couldn't help but notice the continuation of the theme:

Yeah, and it could be argued that when you see a new take on the theme today, it may well have been influenced by other modern takes on the theme and have nothing to do with an ancient religion or the occult.
But the winged disk dates back to the very first known civilisation in Sumer, and it's been with us ever since. I'm posting this to show the Sumerian versions, forget the Anunnaki shit at the bottom.
