It's composite. Brand name Timber Tech.

I believe that the client chose this brand because it's warranty doesn't void at low heights and this is a very low deck.

Each 16ft plank was like $70

I dug up muck so that there was at least a little breathing room under the joists and drilled like 30 or 40 2 inch holes throughout the framing to encourage airflow. If this thing warps up like the last one, I don't know what to say.
