Last night I finished Samurai Shodown 5 with Charlotte, my favorite character. I have beat it before but only using a cheap character than can exploit the AI. Also finished Ikari 3, much easier than the first two games. Im gonna try out some more NES stuff, Im thinking some bad LJN ones lol

If you look at the 8-16 bit eras, most of the best shmups were made by 1 company: Compile. I somehow managed to miss their first big hit though; Zanac on the NES. Im playing it now and its cool to see the roots of their later more awesome games:
