What is the NEW F7 CREW?

Hey all

For anyone who has heard this term but doesn't know what it means...

F7 was the code# for the old (now its changed) 'Pictures and Multimedia' section of a huge MMA Forum called Sherdog. - Its where I did most of my photoshopping over the years, and where imo some of the best MMA photoshoppers on the net seem to be (or at least it was for a time...) The golden years of MMA Photoshop Community

But then for notorious reasons best left for other threads, I got banned/quit, so a bunch of us came here, and we named ourselves the 'NEW' F7 Crew. Since then other creative people of various talents have come to help grow a better and more positive and free online creative presence.

The NEW F7 Crew is ANYONE who loves MMA and expresses that passion creatively in ANY WAY. NO mods, NO ads, NO popups, NO fees.
- If you are a Masato Toys Forum member, and make ANYTHING creative here - YOU ARE PART OF THE CREW!!

Let's INSPIRE each other, LEARN from each other, ENCOURAGE each other, and COLLABORATE with each other to make bigger and better things, to share ideas, to push our creative energies. In my opinion, creative energy is vital to a healthy, happy, human existence, and is vastly underestimated in our western consumer culture. Even if you just make silly photoshops, it is good for you. You will feel happier and your creative energy grows stronger, and will want to make more things. FEED THIS. CREATE. SHARE. EVOLVE.

re; the Hitman: that image you found the Hitman in is NOT just a random bunch of crazy images. There was a GIANT thread at Sherdog during the Shoop tournament where ALL the shoopers were bantering back and forth and joking for weeks. Every image in that shoop is in reference to the different shoopers or a joke that was made somewhere in the thread. I can barely remember them all now, but when it was fresh anyone who had participated in the thread would have got the references.

Was perhaps the most fun and creative thread I ever participated in... so many sharp wits and talents all saturated in place for a few short weeks - tons of jokes everywhere, everyone super cool and positive.

That's what is so cool and so shitty about shooping; often the best ideas are ones that only work within a sliver of time. RIGHT after a fight, or in reference to some obscure events. After that they lose all their power and become meaningless.

Its kind of mysterious lol, few other artforms have this kind of nature

So what's the word on the Shoop GP that was started over on Sherdog? Is it cancelled, or just on hiatus?
