I have no idea how I missed this post but I am wandering off the anarchy page lol

the tree so hammers the perceptive meaning of life to me..... without too much backstory i have been stalling on my third tattoo for years and it is a tree

the womans voice I would much rather listen to

thanks for all this, yeah audio tapes for long drives yo!

LOL just like the book, I made it about 60% through Steppenwolf and then fell off...

Don't know if that's a criticism to me, or Mr Hesse, lol

Maybe I'll finish it, I still don't know how it ends.


One interesting thing I just learned this weekend was that supposedly Steppenwolf was written for OLDER men; it was a book intended to inspire and give insight to men in middle age and renew them with zeal for life... - but to his dismay it ended up becoming a huge hit with YOUNGER men, who likely missed the point because they have not yet seen life from the perspective of middle age.
