Blissful ignorance and the power of wanting to belong, we so need to cling and covet what is so fluid and what cant be kept.

Religion is how we hang on in life rather than let go

Id appreciate it if youd clarify that statement as being in relation to western religion and not dharmic faiths like buddhism which teach the exact opposite.

Interestingly Ango Saxons have the best funerals out of any ive been to, no one cries and wails (like hindu and buddhist women at funerals) and you all get drunk. I think its because they are a war people at heart the anglos

How much religion do you think was formed naturally, grassroots spreading of wise men vs invented, propagated and enforced by elites to control the masses?

Taoism imo is the most peaceful... no requiring of belief in anything, no worshipping/idolizing of central personalities, no claims of saying it is right while other faiths are dammned, no use for making war from. Its simple and as plain as your own hands, and can get along with just about anything.

I like What's talk of 'clinging'... very Alan Watts. Let go!! THAT is real faith.

It's all still based on the heavens. I'll watch some of the videos.

OK watched the vids. I thought they'd be long. Nice and concise.

I wonder if there is any truth to the Albert Pike letters.

The scriptures are due for an update. The Semitic religions have just about run their course. It's hard to relate to people from a thousand plus years ago.
