Couldn't fit the full frame in the crevice so I halved it.
Drywall hung. Dremelled the edge to flatten it. Corner bead.
One coat of mud.
Kind of a big paint job
Pete is going to start refinishing the third floor tomorrow.

If it turns out good, I'll give him the rest of the house except for maybe a few bedrooms. I'd like to get Frank the Tank in there to do some carpeting.

Wouldn't punching people in the face be an easier career?
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.
Punching people in the face involves too much sucking cock... But yes.

Pretty much every career of one kind or another involves sucking dick

Unfortunately. You can't do it, though. It depletes your chi.
So for this staircase, the most efficient thing to do is shore up the framing on the lower platform (which wasn't supported well) Demolish the upper platforms replace them with a set of stringers. And then demolish the wall in front of the bottom of the staircase. The thing that I was least sure of was finding the correct angle to cut the stringers... because i have never done that before. If I was more sure of myself for that step, I could have finished today, I think. But I'll finish tomorrow and then it'll be ready for drywall.
