The wife wants to go for a 1-week cheap trip.
I have always had a strong curiosity of Ireland /Irish culture/music etc
Anyone here been to Ireland?
Suggestions for a cheap 1-week trip?
IRELAND roadtrip
From the little I know, I want to see real Ireland, not North Ireland.

I've never been but I enjoyed the scenery of Ireland while watching Season 3 of Sons of Anarchy. You can see a few scenes of the country side in the beginning and end of this vid.
I would like to experience living in a quaint cottage in the picturesque place where I would enjoy daily walks with a border collie along those cliffs over the ocean
it would probably be great for a year or two and then I would become bored

Isn't Otsuka Irish?

I'ma hit this for 6 days.
Looking at VRBos now.
I figure 3 stops circle road trip, Dublin to Dublin, 3 stops along the way 2 nights in each spot.
VRBOs looking cheap

I thought this was interesting. I've never really understood how Ireland was partitioned.

Got the tickets!
Toronto >< Dublin Oct 18-25
$1350 for 2 round trip tickets
Not a bad deal
accommodation looks cheap.
My wife loves to travel, but always waits & saves up for these bigger/longer/more expensive trips with the kids etc.
I've been telling her we can get away for short trips just the 2 of us and travel way more, keep it cheap.
She's finally starting to listen
