Re: Tyron Woodley calls out Nate Diaz for UFC 219 fight
Did you guys see Darren Till's dismantling of Cerrone? I think he's almost ready to face Woodley. http://oi68.tinypic.com/zn6ti.jpg Woodley likes to backpedal into the cage, shell, wait, explode! http://i2.wp.com/www.totalsportsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Woodley-KO-big.gif?resize=450%2C250 ...

Re: Tyron Woodley calls out Nate Diaz for UFC 219 fight
Maybe. Tyrone is big and tends to just sit in guard with his elbows tight. If Nate doesn't get a guillotine on the way down, or get nasty with elbows from bottom, what do you see happening? It's not like he's going to swing for a sick Armbar / Triangle combo on a big sweaty wrestler who just wants t...

Re: Tyron Woodley calls out Nate Diaz for UFC 219 fight
Tyrone is a bad matchup for Nate.
It's like high-volume vs low-volume striker. Tyrone won't wear himself out punching. Nate won't be able to stop the legkicks or blast doubles.

Re: Discuss your most recent training
I trained pretty regularly like 16+ years ago, (mostly No-Gi and MMA)... then fell right off the wagon when the kids came etc.. Tried to get back on a couple times but never lasted long. Yeah very similar. I started 13 years ago when I was only 17. It was a cool time, and being at an MMA focused, t...

Re: Discuss your most recent training
^^ they give out belts for No-Gi now? Did you train at 10th Planet? Same situation with me, except my layoff was more like 6-7 years. Put on a gi and white belt, and started smashing blue belts. So after the first class they put 4 stripes on my belt. Then after 2 months, gave me my blue :) Actually...

Re: Discuss your most recent training
I just started up after a 6 mo layoff. I've done nogi for a very long time but just started with the Gi recently. Took a couple weeks to get used to but I don't mind it at all. In fact, I wish I would have started training Gi years ago; there would have been so many more places to train and challeng...
