The weather was angry that day my friend, like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli.

This gif is the perfect metaphor for how it felt my friend and just why it took so damn long.

2008 Tech House remix from Romboy of the Deep cut from Gorge. yeah the same Romby from the "Marc Et Claude" project and Systematic Recordings. Lots of collaborations with other artists like Ken Ishii and Stephan Bodzin.

They might have this dropped a few times at Space on the Terrace. Beautiful rinsed out trumpet. Still gets me every time. Pure Class.

That Funkagenda Essential from 2009 started so fresh with this getting layered with the Accapella of Spen + Karizma - 4 Tha Love before losing steam. Not really sure what he was trying to do after that. First 30 minutes is pure energy. Music that is accessible to the newcomers but deep enough for the purists. Then just mediocre beatport hits that back to back without any purpose other than promoting Mark Knight's Label. Shame.

Many times the artist will tell you if the mix deviates form the standard mix that you could expect seeing them live. Nothing like that here.

Dat bassline doe....

Also off another Detroit Legend's Fact Mix. DJ Rolando. Love that the are making their own Youtube pages to make sure you get a High Quality version.

Still it doesn't tell the whole story when someone like Rolando gets their hand on this track like this and makes it his own. He layered it with another DJ tool and IIRC correctly it was pitched up a bit.

I've said this many times............
