I think intelligent street-art, if done right, is one of the coolest artforms ever. I respect these guys because not only are they simply being very creative (which I think is good), doing it for free, and making good social commentary... but they are also putting themselves at risk for it.
Getting caught/harangued by cops is NOT fun, I am not ever sure I'd risk this myself, (unless I had a really great idea :) )
Anyway, here is a supposed new artist called 'Plastic Jesus' who, if these can indeed all be attributed to him (how would you know?), are pretty good. Not as good as Banksy, but pretty clever, definitely in a good direction. I'd like to wrap my brain around ideas for this kind of work one day, it is like a new kind of language
