People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

you know I knew this image would hit a nerve but I didnt think I would see it bring the worst out in people

I will say one thing that always made sense to me, "give a man money or power to find out his true character".

On that note I have met Dana twice, at UFC 31 and 47 and I have to say he seemed a genuine nice guy

hes turned into an insensitive disrespectful asshole lately, this artistic theft without consideration is repugnant. this is why the UFC is such a blue collar trailer trash outfit, no consideration never remind respect undermines anything that should be considered respectful

fuck your tarnishing martial arts UFC, you need a spanking

Steel and be stolen. It's the only way to go.

I used to go to every event in Scotland, I exchanged my photos for cage side access. I would stamp all the photos and ask, please use them but don't remove the stamp. In the end folk don't care, they have no understanding of the time, skill or cost to me, to produce the photos etc. Few top athletes have made it out of Scotland but wee Jojo most of the tume shared them from the source giving me credit, in the end. I cam to the realisation you make something digital it is going to get stolen. End of.

^ I think you are 100% correct

What goes on the internet is free for the using, and that's just the way it is.

And don't get me wrong, I LIKE this and feel its the way it should be.

I hate any talk of copyright, fair use, intellectual property etc... I am not interested in making legal disputes or suing anyone or anything whatsoever of a legal nature. I truly believe the internet should be open and free and no one should be attacking anyone over this stuff.

All I would like to encourage/promote is that in such an age where copyright is becoming futile, its just honorable and proper to try to give props where we can. If you steal a song you like, promote it a bit. If you use someone's art, give a quick shoutout. If this MENTALITY can grow, then ideas of IP or copyright become kind of useless.

Its simple manners imo, like if someone gives you something you say thank you, or if someone makes a performance you enjoy you clap or put some money in the hat etc. If you make something good it naturally reaps good response, if you make something crap you will also hear it, its pure karma in action

You get a little you give a little, and the world can go round in harmony.

Legal battles are the wrong solution, they are negative and divisive. What we need is appreciation and sharing, this is more enlightened society.

Folk don't care, I used to take time to shoop the small time Scottish fighters into the main event posters etc. Or create event poster in the event style for them. Did they ever give credit! No! Did it stop me stealing shit and shooping awesomeness. No

^ yeah, if you're only creating things for credit and attention/likes etc something is wrong.

While it is natural that art should want to be seen by others, I would still paint even if I was alone on an island with no one to re-tweet it lol
