So what's the word on the Shoop GP that was started over on Sherdog? Is it cancelled, or just on hiatus?

They already started! Its a bit different this time, some great work

...the idea is that competitors have 24 hours after EVERY EVENT to get their shoop in, and it can be anything as long as its related to the event in some way. I like the format, it moves faster and allows more creativity.

We wanted to finish it. We were doing everything we could, but the reality was we couldnt get Masato on Sherdog, and we cant get Avarice to come here. So either way we are missing a quarter finalist.

Coming to war with Sherdog about other shit totally jeopardized the GP, I wasn't considiering this properly when all the shit was goin down

But believe it was fated to go this way. I think some better things are evolving here as a result

It was an intense tourney though, the level of expectations was getting really high. I still miss Avarice and hope he comes here, GP or no GP
