not really imo, but I'm generally an accepting guy & prob hang around the same. it's a big deal mostly in the deep southern necks or with the nursing home generation. If I had to take a guess, maybe 80/20 accepting/bigoted. from my personal experience anyway & I moved around a lot. lived both rich & poor. it's usually the 20 that is more vocal though.

Also all the cop shootings over nothing. Is that overblown? I have to keep reminding myself that theres 300mio of you vs 25mio of us so maybe you're right could be Emily and co hyping shit up.

good point. overblown (imo), but definitely a cause for concern. not really sure what to think about that one. some of these cases were justified & the media rarely mentions that, but some clearly were not. it really does seem like nothing but a bunch of timid cops with quick trigger fingers lately, but there is also a quiet war on cops going on @ the same time.

I don't understand what they have against tasering a motherfucker though.

with that said, emily & co. were definitely hyping shit up. but that was usually because he was making up ridiculous statistics until ben called him out on it or making a new thread everyday because prison planet reported something new. it's not like someone has to fear for their life while visiting, but It would prob be best to not try & piss people off. but I generally feel that way wherever I go.

One thing we do get here in Aus is if I say I have a Korean wife people automatically respond with "Oh Fijian and Korean thats a strange mix"

I know what they are saying but it kinda strikes me as odd since the dont say this about White/Korean couples and Fiji and Korea are geographically much closer than Korea and the United Kingdom where they originated from.

Again I get what they mean, maybe Im just over hearing it.

Koreans on the other hand when they hear we have kids say "Oh mix babies are sexy"

They mean good looking not "sexy" but it kind of pisses me off.

Hey all

So the Hippy Kid is doing well... somehow he ended up owning a big crappy building in a sketchy part of Hamilton, and is trying to fix it up into something that can generate income. He has a long way to go, lol

He just threw a party last weekend in the joint though, guessing he made some coin off covers

Check the place, its very unique :D

trying to get a workshop in order:

Check this room, lol he hacked together a fireplace, and is using all his demo wreckage as firewood :D This room was cozier than in the photo, felt like some remote mountain shack or something

attic you can walk around in, will be nice when finished

Had a band playing, I took photos earlier when crowds were sparse but it got rockin. I took the Olde Phuque and the wife, but we left around 11. Can't keep up with these kids anymore, lol

I don't know whose dog this was but he was chill/beautiful. Just sleeping in the middle of the party, people stepping over him, lol. Later I saw him on some prime couch real estate

wish the Kid well... he's an odd one, but has a heart of gold. Doesn't really fit into this material world but who does? lol

The plan is to get the place into condition to rent some rooms for tenants. I think once its done it will be a really cool place to live if you are that student/vegan/hippy type

There was another thread about the place, pics of when he first bought it but I can't remember how to find it again.

He is still challenging some of his law troubles, he had a choice to give in to the system and pay fines/plead guilty etc or get some out-of-the-box guy to help him continue to dispute his charges. I told him if he picks option #1 he can get on with his life, but he chose option #2 which is kind of admirable if not foolish. We'll see how it goes

Motherfucker, dude just got taken AGAIN... he's in jail right now.

didn't show up again for a court date, they flagged a warrant for him and picked him up.

Just talked with him mom, still waiting to see what kind of sentence he gets. She seems to think it will be short like 2 weeks or something but who knows.

Poor kid just doing what he thinks is right but not using his brains to do it with any efficiency lol

There may be more to it, but I suspect it was his Free Man talk that got him into hot water.

He would ask many times with me if it was worth it to pursue and stand up for what you believe in, or whether to just STFU and say 'yes sir, no sir' and play the game to get them off your back.

Like I said I watched him do some Free Man work in the court room (wouldn't step up to the bar, refused to say 'your honor' etc). Good for him but I could tell it pissed off the judge. My guess is that the judge wanted to end it and not be screwed with from a young hippy kid. This was making an example imo, telling him where the line is.

Yeah not respecting the court that can send you to jail isnt smart, it achieves nothing. We have issues with muslims not bowing the to judge because its haram. Id tell them to pretend your just avoiding a low hanging tree branch or something and bow

The issue with challenging the court isn't that the law doesn't actually allow the things these freeman people are saying, because in many cases it actually does. The problem is the judges are absolutely not going to allow these legal challenges to stand and create precedent.

Judges know the score and are certainly not going to allow some punk kid to come in and try breaking down the system.
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

Check out the farce playing out with a Swedish 70-year old Uncle Mega type of dude and the publisher of Expressen. Atrocity.
