What do you find more fulfilling punching people in the face or building stuff

The thrill of messing people up got old a long time ago. There are aspects of the sport that are fulfilling... improving, growing, getting stronger, helping others to do the same. I learned a lot fighting. The commercialization of the sport has been gross and dehumanizing. People look at you like you're a circus animal. Participating in the sport is not a thing that i bring up to people.

It can be fulfilling to bring someone's vision into the world but most jobs aren't that. I'm really fine with all the work but dealing with clients can be kind of a pain for me. if i had someone to bid jobs and deal w/ clients, it would make it a lot easier.

So neither really but it all depends on how you approach it.

Meh... I feel like I'm kind of going to get jewed on this job. They're getting a good deal even if I fuck some shit up.

Dude's nephew set the shower pan and was like "he's my uncle and I love him but he's a tough SOB when it comes to money. Don't let him get you." So I'm a little paranoid. I don't have a contract. He's my neighbor and barely speaks English. He uses that to his advantage.

Lol. He's an old man with a bad back. Him and his wife are very hospitable compared to other clients. Willing to feed me breakfast and lunch every day if i let them. Interesting ethnic food, usually quite tasty. He's just a hard nut.
