Currently only a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the printing and production of the cards, it’s a fun and ideal way to invest in Bulgarian artists.
Most of the illustrators featured in the deck of cards are full-time and professional designers and artists. IC founder Krasi Nafarforiev tells The Creators Project, “When you hold the deck in your hands you can see the vast diversity of styles implemented in the deck. You can see concept art, pen art, 3D, typography and many more styles revealing each artists crazy imagination."
I hope there are more in the real deck like the top right image where it is mirrored and the image can read right-side-up AND upside-down.
That is a cool unique element of playing cards, I would have tried to encourage the artists to play with. Ups the challenge, otherwise you're just slapping artwork onto cards.
