LOL the responses to Charlie are kind of interesting. Everyone else can be excused but I guess I'm a little surprised none of those words seem to ring a bell with Masato. It's pretty sad that they don't teach BC history in the BC school system. He's trying to speak enough English to be understood but that's a real language; in fact it was once the lingua franca of British Columbia spoken by over a 100,000 people; white, Indian, Chinese and Hawaiian alike. There is still a pretty good loading of those words in BC English, especially in the interior. But I guess times are changing eh

Probably right. For everything there is a season, so it goes....

My first girlfriend in highschool was 100% BC Native.
Neither her nor any of her family spoke any indigenous language either.
I'll give Skookum artistic credit though, its not easy to make gibberish look semi-convincing as another language, takes an artists' touch.
If I am am wrong however and Charlie really is a Skookum Siwash, my hat is off and I will look further into it.

How do you feel about the fact that your first GF was essentially a primate?
