Been researching... very cool possibility, I am open to it

however the leading researcher as an individual does not attract much credibility.. check out this series of 4 vids, the dude is jumping to huge conclusions all over the place:

So what's the trick?

Is it dependant on the work that I produce? (obviously, every time I make a new comic etc the traffic gets bigger)

Are there ways to promote it while I'm working on the next project?

I thought if I just keep posting good topics of interest that I'd get more traffic, but that gets old fast lol

Oh well.. I have the next comic issue coming out soon, we'll see if we can give it another boost.

My experiences in the past with small forums have been really enjoyable, I only need a hundred or so to get it moving...

I think that your work has a lot to do with it, another problem is that the novelty of posting in a new forum wears off after a little while. very few off-shoots succeed, if i ran a site like globalmma.com i would set up some kind of a partnership/traffic exchange so both forums benefited from each other. you could also try headhunting influential posters who are likely to bring their buddies with them. i will try and recruit some guys and put links to this site on my youtube channel to see if that helps
