Sorry to hear man,
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.
He has Lew Body disease, mixed with some other physical ailment that weakens him. And his eyes are failing, most of the time he's pretty much blind.
Its irreversible so he knows where things are going. It's weird because the disease causes dementia, but on the other hand he knows he has it and is fully aware of everything that is happening. When the dementia kicks in, he understands what's happening and just comments how it kicked out again, often laughs at it, he thinks its funny the way he watches his brain not work
He says he hallucinates madly at night times, seeing beings and creatures as though they were real. He says he pays no attention to them because he knows they are not real. I encouraged him to pay more attention and see what he sees lol. Don't know if that was wise or not but I find it fascinating.
Very interesting to see. He is peaceful and safe with my brother and refuses to go to a hospital.
He has been given 6 months by the doctors. They gave him that MAID option, he considers it.
I have an oddly timed vacation with the family next week.
I have a feeling dad will still be here when I get back/this isn't the last time we meet, but of course we never know.
Yesterday we all feasted on BBQ lamb steaks and some wine
Victoria is beautiful
