I have been watching this series and it is an interesting stroll through history and a look into the lives of the UpperCrust

JFK episode and MoonLanding were particularly interesting. Also the one with the Intruder who managed to sneak into the Queen's chambers for a chat

My strong assumption is that its nothing but lies. Was there an episode with Jimmy Savile in it? Was there an episode where Charles and Philip are raping young boys?

Didn't think so.

it's entertaining. I don't expect the whole truth to be presented but no doubt there are elements of the truth and which may suggestively point one to deeper discoveries

While I have not seen the show, I would be anxious to disagree.

In my opinion all shows like that are entirely intended to completely ignore/obfuscate the most important truths. Of course they will base it on some truths, but they will always focus on the lesser scandals, the conspiracies that lead you nowhere. They will never ever touch on the more serious crimes, the details that may actually cause uproar or lead to proper investigations that would incriminate them all.

"We'll show you all the dirt EXCEPT this and this, and of course most certainly we will never ever talk about anything related to THAT."

It was like this for the JFK movie, the Titanic, that Cheney movie, etc etc etc etc etc.
Anything and everything EXCEPT the most important parts.

These movies' function IMO is to PROTECT the ruling class, not expose. They are designed to HIDE their crimes, and leave the audience with a twisted and relatively innocent (if not admirable or nostalgic) view of the subject. To keep up complacent with the way things are, and prepared appropriately for what they want us to comply with in the future.

Netflix is all about this imo

as for the "entertainment" value, I will give some example: The MoonLanding episode was used to tell the story of the challenges men face in life and aging and the value of masculine fellowship and religion. Surprisingly the series has been rather pro-Christian in message from what I have observed.
