Here is his post-fight status from his Facebook Page:
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the support. I was really touched and honoured to see so much support for me last night. Had a long list of people that have helped me get to this point and will help me get further. I didn't get chance to thanks them last night.
So here goes. It's a long one but that's just because so many people helped me in different ways (going to do a proper one for my sponsors but this will do in the mean time) Big thanks to Trojanfitness Bristol and everyone they're a great bunch. Nige and tubular scaffolding for having my back and risking everything to give me a job when I needed it.
A big part of my mma game and a sport I enjoy more then ever is wrestling, and a big reason for that is the man of a million moves Jahanshah Saidi. I'm so literally lucky to learn from the best.
Not forgetting to mention Saeed Esmaeli and Esmali wrestling for all the time and techniques invested in me.
Chico Mendes and Bristol Combat Legion for putting the time in. Simon Chilli Chilcott and real performance for getting me in the shape I was in. Bristol bikram yoga for showing me the way to a true 'zen' like state while physically attacking people
Ross Laurence and Leanne Niles for letting me crash at their beautiful home so I could train at my new mma gym, Bst Northampton, where everyone made me feel so welcome and the coaches Danny Batten, Lee Edwards and JB Graham who all believed in me and spent so much time working with me for this, not to mention all the fighters and staff. Thanks you guys I'm proud to say and be part of your team.
Not to mention my good, good friend Mostapha Al-turk, always there for me and helping me so much. Yes he has bad hygiene, hurts the eyes to look at and is shit at poker, not forgetting to mention the one testicle, but you guys at team Junk Boat have a gem of a person and coach and are truly very lucky.
Also thanks to Graz Merlino, aka my Merlean. The women is a machine and has been to the darkest of places and always been right behind me fighting my corner. I'm very lucky.
That long list doesn't even cover it. So many people, so much support which is fuelling me and driving me on. Believe me, I'm just getting started. I'm a work in progress. Still so much to learn and improve on. The COLOSSUS, aka 'The Thinking Meat Head' is back and you can either jump aboard and be part of the COLOSSAL COLLECTIVE or get run over, your choice.
