No sure if you heard but he is now going into MMA and Rickson wont let him train striking or wrestling to prove the greatness of jiu jitsu lol

I knew that was sort of the philosophy (there are great Joe Rogan podcasts with both Kron and Rickson)... but I wasn't sure how far they would actually take it.

If this is true its bananas. But very interesting.

I am still a sucker for the idea of some people achieving a mastery that is so far above others that they are invincible for a while. If Kron does well it would be a legendary tale. However after getting all excited for Roger Gracie's MMA debuts I can't say my hopes are high :(

Luigi where did you hear that Rickson wouldn't let him train striking and wrestling? Unless it's no time limits, or at least very long rounds, like 15 minute rounds... I don''t see that being beneficial at all.

I think it was discussed on the Joe Rogan podcast with both guests if I remember correctly. Nothing too specific, just general idea that they are still out to prove effectiveness of BJJ
